At the moment St. Alban’s Strasbourg is without a Priest-in-Charge; the previous incumbent, the Revd. Canon Harold Nahabedian, returned to his native Canada in February 2013. The Church Council is involved in the diocesan process of recruiting a successor and hopes that this year a new Priest-in-Charge may be found. In the meantime we have been blessed by the willingness of a series of locum priests to spend weeks and months with us in Strasbourg, celebrating the Eucharist and offering pastoral care.
The Revd. John Murray, a former Priest-in-Charge who lives near Strasbourg and to whom we are very grateful for repeatedly covering vacancies, is acting as locum priest until 11th January.
On 18th January the Revd. Patrick Irwin is returning for what will be his third stint as locum in Strasbourg. He stays with us until Ash Wednesday, 18th February.
From 20th February until 7th April we shall be welcoming the Revd. Geoff Arrand and his wife Margaret for their second stay in Strasbourg; they will celebrate Easter with us.
On 26th April the Revd. Roger Wikeley will come for what will also be his second visit; he stays until 31 May.
